Tribute To King Charles

Shany Hagan is a single mum who lives in York and spends her time painting and donating her art to different charities, so far raising £300k for some 30 different ones. She paints for the NHS, celebrities and their specific charities, film covers and Royal commissions.

Shany started painting two years ago after having eye surgery and it is her unique way of giving something back after the NHS restored her vision through a 'miracle operation'.

We have been following talented Yorkshire artist Shany Hagan's work with interest as she uses her artistic skills to raise money for charity.

She ceaselessly continues to paint and one of her latest paintings is a watercolour original design of King Charles with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip in the background.

This painting is a tribute to the Royal family and will be going to Buckingham Palace for the coronation of King Charles. The latest news is that the painting will be displayed on the electronic billboards around London on the Coronation Day.
