Unspoilt Island Gets First Boutique Hotel – 2024

Launching in Q2 2024, Odera, will be the first luxury boutique hotel of its kind on the unspoilt Greek island of Tinos.

Sitting in a secluded bay with a private beach amongst the island’s dramatic landscape, the hotel will comprise 77 rooms and pool suites, an expansive spa and private beach club.

Designed with ‘authenticity’ in mind, Odera will feature interiors celebrating Tinos’ traditions, local artisans, and producers.

Designers, Studio Bonarchi, are supporting the island’s local craftsmanship with the use of traditional Tinian stonework, the introduction of authentic ‘pigeonholes’ and meticulously crafted marble furnishings. Menus will celebrate local suppliers.

All rooms and suites boast magnificent sea views and a walk-in shower whilst those staying at the Odera Residence can achieve a higher level of opulence and privacy.

Guests are invited to discover the heart and soul of Tinos through a host of island activities and excursions including hiking, fishing, village tours and marble carving workshops while the lively Tinos town is just 5km away.

The hotel’s private sandy beach, Vourni, is a short stroll and guests can rent the hotel’s private boat to explore the hidden gems along the stunning coastline.

A hidden, unspoilt gem, Tinos is a charming, spiritual, and soulful island, best-known by religious pilgrims for the Church of Panagia Evangelistria, built in 1823 to honour the Virgin Mary.

With its rustic landscape, remote and unspoilt beaches, undulating olive groves and vineyards and sleepy, white-washed villages, Tinos offers a peaceful haven, a place of respite and calm and a glimpse into a time gone by.

Getting There

Odera is a 15-20-minute boat ride from JMK Airport (Mykonos Island) or a two-hour ferry journey from Athens. www.oderatinos.com.
