Skipton Dalesway Help Fellow WI Celebrate 60 Years

Skipton with Stirton and Thorlby WI in December 2023 would have celebrated 60 years in the WI.

Earlier in 2023 because they were diminishing in numbers Skipton with Stirton and Thorlby merged with Skipton Dalesway WI.

At the December meeting of Skipton Dalesway WI on 6th December the occasion was marked, when one of the members Sharon Webster made a lovely celebration cake.

Rosa Procter, one of the founding members of Skipton with Stirton and Thorlby WI was able to join them in the evening and cut the cake.

The evening concluded with entertainment from the Skipton Ukulele Club who played some Christmasy songs which put everyone into the Christmas spirit. All were able to enjoy a slice of the celebration cake along with a buffet which was provided by the members.

An enjoyable celebration was had by everyone.
