Yorkshire-based private healthcare provider LivingCare Group has announced the launch of a full body MRI service at its Leeds clinic, expanding its diagnostic capacity.

The introduction of the service follows a significant rise in demand for preventative health checks across the UK. Face-to-face health assessments have more than doubled over the past two years, while Google has reported a 40% increase in searches for “health screenings”, reflecting a growing public interest in self-funded diagnostics and proactive health monitoring.

The new imaging service uses 3T MRI scanners and artificial intelligence-enhanced image reconstruction technology. This allows for a non-invasive assessment of multiple key areas of the body within a single appointment.

Typically used alongside an individual’s clinical history and risk factors, a full-body MRI can identify internal changes or abnormalities before symptoms appear, allowing for earlier clinical intervention. LivingCare Group is the first private healthcare provider in the North of England to implement this specific technology on a 3T scanner, which reduces scan times, increases appointment availability and improves patient comfort.
