Some enjoy the heat of the kitchen and preparing a festive feast. As an alternative, Sparkling Bradford is showcasing the wealth of traditional and non traditional Christmas Day dinner options available to book in the district this year.

Many restaurants and pubs are open on the big day, and in a district as culinary diverse as ours, every taste is catered for. From roast dinners with all the trimmings, to festive feasts from across the globe, Sparkling Bradford has selected many of the best options to enjoy.

The Sparkling Bradford winter campaign, which works to boost the local economy by showcasing the visitor experience in Bradford, highlights the huge and diverse range of events, activities and entertainment on offer throughout the district.

Bradford Councillor, Sarah Ferriby commented:
“The hospitality industry has been significantly affected in the last eighteen months, and it is our aim to do all we can to boost footfall in the district and raise awareness about a city steeped in heritage and brimming with culture. Christmas Day is the perfect day to celebrate all that Bradford has to offer; with so many culinary delights on offer, both locals and tourists will be spoilt for choice!”

Sachi’s Restaurant, Ilkley
Sachi’s is an authentic, fine dining Indian restaurant and bar, situated at The Moors Shopping Centre in Ilkley. Open and available to book for lunch on Christmas Day, director and chef, Sachchidananda Samanta, has worked tirelessly to develop a menu that spans from the traditional to more adventurous meal options; influenced by the skills he’s learned through years of working with Indian and French cooking techniques.

The Midland Hotel, Bradford
Situated in the heart of Bradford, 100m from Bradford Forster Square Station, is hosting a traditional Christmas lunch for all the family. Visitors will enjoy a sumptuous five course meal and receive a festive gift from Santa.

MyLahore, Bradford
MyLahore’s menu is famously diverse, offering up tastes of adventure, as well as culinary strolls down memory lane. The restaurant has a very British Asian story, rooted in Yorkshire, and on Christmas Day, families will be able to tuck into everything from samosas to shepherd’s pie, and karahis to cornflake tarts.

Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley
Relax is the key word for Christmas at the Craiglands Hotel this year. The team will serve tasty canapes served by a roaring log fire from 12pm on Christmas Day, followed by an exquisite six course lunch.

Haute Dolci in Bradford
Offers alternative festive menus in the lead up to Christmas. Anyone with a passion for sweet things will be instinctively drawn to the delicious Christmas creations at Haute Dolci, which has transformed fine dining into fine art, with a range of luxury desserts that offer unforgettable pleasure to those who taste them.

The Hawthorn in Haworth
A Georgian gem, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. The restaurant recently launched its December menu, with ingredients sourced from local Yorkshire Dales farmers and seafood freshly delivered from Hartlepool in the run up to Christmas.

The Copper and Moss in Shipley
Has a Christmas menu that puts a relaxed spin on seasonal classics. German market fries bring the taste of festive events to the table, but there is plenty on offer for traditionalists also, with hot turkey sandwiches and mulled wine on the menu. Visitors are able to dine indoors or al fresco, wrapped in a cosy blanket; enjoying a warm and welcoming atmosphere in Shipley.
