Boston Energy has been awarded a Bronze Medal by EcoVadis, the international sustainability ratings platform, placing the company in the top 35% of organisations assessed worldwide.

EcoVadis evaluates companies against 21 criteria across four categories: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The medal recognises Boston Energy’s progress in embedding responsible business practices and supply chain standards.

Jonathan Godber, chief financial officer at Boston Energy, said the rating reflected “an encouraging step forward” as the company continues to develop its environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy.

The assessment is benchmarked against international frameworks including the UN Global Compact, ILO conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative and ISO 26000.

Boston Energy provides workforce solutions and services to the wind industry and says it is aligning its operations with the UN Sustainable Development Goals on health, gender equality and climate action.
