Aer Lingus Strengthens Transatlantic Network For UK Travellers

Aer Lingus is welcoming back a number of major US routes from its Dublin base for the first time since 2020, creating new America travel options for customers with connections out of Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The route to Philadelphia came back on line earlier this month with Los Angeles and Seattle set to follow on 12th May and 7th July.

Value fares start from £209 each way as part of a return trip, via the airline's Dublin hub, including taxes and charges.

Philadelphia now features six flights a week, rising to daily from next month, with Chicago already operating a second flight five times weekly.

A second daily flight to Washington DC will also commence on 9th June, the first time Aer Lingus has implemented such a flight strategy to this city destination.

In October Aer Lingus will resume its highly popular flights to the capital of the Sunshine State, Miami, iout of Dublin.

Critically, the start of Aer Lingus Regional routes and the resumption of the transatlantic routes from Dublin will increase choice for UK regional customers who can seamlessly connect onto Aer Lingus’ North American network via its Dublin Hub.

Further UK connections to North America from Leeds Bradford Airport, have also just started in the last 48 hours.

Connecting to North America with Aer Lingus via its Dublin hub, UK travellers can experience the benefit of US Immigration Pre-clearance before they depart allowing them to arrive into the US as domestic customers, avoiding any lengthy immigration queues.

UK travellers can fly on 12 transatlantic routes via Dublin, including New York JFK, Newark, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Washington DC, Seattle, Toronto, and Philadelphia, and to New York, JFK and Boston via Shannon.

The airline will be the only carrier offering direct flights between Ireland and West Coast USA with daily flights to San Francisco, as well as daily services to Los Angeles starting on 12 May and Seattle returning five times a week on 7 July.
