Jimi Hendrix - who else?
Now everyone can learn rock performance techniques at a masterclass being held at Ricky's School of Rock in Linthwaite on 2 March 2012 from 4.30-6.30pm.
Rock Performance Techniques for Business is designed for anyone who would like to improve their presentation skills and increase their confidence in preparation for an interview, business meeting or presentation.
The two-hour masterclass will be hosted by Ricky Comiskey, who owns and runs Ricky's School of Rock, in association with Michelle Hodgson of Key Words.
Michelle says: "We all know how nerve-wracking it can be going to an interview or getting up in front of a roomful of people to give a presentation."
"The idea behind this masterclass is that all performers feel those nerves but there are techniques that can be learned to improve your confidence and allow you to stride out on to the stage - whether it's at Wembley Stadium or your firm's annual sales conference."
With reference to the classic rock mockumentary, Spinal Tap, Ricky has promised that he will help you "Turn your business meetings and public speaking up to 11!".
Whether you are going for your first interview, preparing your one-minute business pitch for a networking event or giving a seminar to several hundred people, Rock Performance Techniques for Business will give you invaluable techniques for any occasion in life when you need to take to the stage and impress the crowd.
