Finnish songstress Scarlette has set up home in London as a result of what can only be described as a modern day fairytale.
Having grown up in a tiny village, Scarlette felt misunderstood. With her sisters piling on the pressure for her to marry and have kids like everyone else, she opted to run away to a big city and lose herself in her dream.
After arriving in the never ending London, she started knocking on door and is now ready to release her début single, 'Wasting My Love'.
When did you first realise you wanted to make music?
When I was 4 walking around in our house with huge headphones on my ears and I played drums to the beat of the track. Then I jumped in the middle of my room and put my dolls as an audience and started singing to them dat Ace Of Base track! :)
If you could go back to that day, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
I would have chosen my friends more carefully especially later in my teens..and not worry so much about the future or other people and just enjoy myself and trust my own intuition.
What is your writing process?
I often find myself singing a catchy chorus when I'm outside out of the blue. I always have a recorder with me. I am writing for my album right now and the songs lyrically are experiences of things I've seen.
You can't force to make a hit song it just comes to you!
Where do you look for inspiration?
My life has been such a crazy journey,I don't need to look trust me! I could make 5 albums in a year ;)
If your music were a person, what would their personality be? Where do you think it would live?
They would be the ultimate warrior queen! They would live in the forest like Xena with swords..
If you had to cite your biggest three influences, what would they be?
Madonna, Martina Sorbara and Marie Fredriksson
What are your three favourite records of the moment?
Gold Coins by Charli XCX, Fruut by Marina & The Diamonds and obviously my new single 'Wasting My Love' out soon!

Early Winter by Gwen Stefani
If you could collaborate with any living artist, who would it be?
Madonna (Also Gwen Stefani, Skrillex and Marina and the Diamonds)
Touring is a big part of a musicians life, what are your tour must haves?
Carmex lipbalm, champagne & strawberries and loads of wicked shoes!
What makes a good live show?
Great band, loads of energy and adrenaline fuelled riot ;)
