Boris Johnson Turned Away From Polling Station Without ID

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, whose Government introduced requirements for voters to bring photo ID to their polling station through the Elections Act 2022, was turned away from his South Oxfordshire polling station, Sky News reported, after failing to bring acceptable ID.

A source close to Mr Johnson confirmed that he forgot his photo ID, but said he returned to the polling station later in the day.
