Yorkshire Retreat Becomes Latest Landal Greenparks Location

Landal GreenParks has further expanded its UK portfolio with the addition of a seventh location – Woodland Lakes Lodges, in Thirsk, Yorkshire.

The luxury countryside retreat, set around 13 fishing lakes close to the historic city of York, joins the back-to-nature holiday brand following development of a multi-million-pound facility hub, featuring an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, restaurant and cafe, soft play area and a shop.

Woodland Lakes Lodges is owner Coppergreen Developments’ third resort to join the Landal GreenParks family following in the footsteps of Landal Kenwick Woods and Landal Piperdam, where customers already benefit from the company’s trademark exceptional service thanks to its investment in staff ‘hostmanship’ training.

The resort’s mix of traditionally built lodges and modern holiday homes set by the water’s edge, all unite space with luxurious home comforts, while the majority come with their own bubbling hot tub.

Seating at the resort’s newly opened Olive Tree Café & Restaurant has been arranged to maintain a safe distance between diners, with takeaway and eat-in orders able to be placed through an easy to use mobile app.
