Yorkshire Business Consultant Sets Up Second Business In The Yorkshire Dales

Pauline Garnett, Managing Director of GoodCounsel Limited, based in the Yorkshire Dales, has set up a second venture. Pauline, who lives in Wensleydale has trained to become a professional celebrant and is a member of the Association of Professional Celebrants.

Pauline started her first business in 2012, ‘GoodCounsel Limited’ which is an independent consultancy business, specialising in leadership and coaching development alongside providing interim HR director level service for short term needs and special projects.

In addition to this Pauline works as a business coach, supporting people who are seeking to develop their careers. She is also a trustee for Samantha Sykes Foundation Trust, a charity helping vulnerable young adults leaving care, who need extra support for further education.

During Pauline’s career in HR she has supported those who were marrying, having children and terminally ill employees and their families. This all contributed to Pauline’s decision to become a celebrant.



In Pauline’s role as a celebrant, she can deliver completely tailored services to celebrate weddings and namings – incorporating historic traditions and modern twists and always encouraging diversity and inclusivity.
