Survey Launched To Understand Brands’ Response To Digital Trends

A Manchester-based digital start-up has launched a nationwide survey in a bid to understand changes in marketing activity throughout the covid-19 pandemic.

Copy Generators is inviting B2C business owners to explain how the pandemic has affected their marketing budgets, marketing activities, social media engagements and website traffic, and how they plan to communicate with their audience as lockdown begins to ease.

The results will help the firm uncover how brands in the UK have responded to the changing digital behaviours of consumers amidst the global crisis and provide tailored support as they begin to emerge.

According to figures released by Datareportal, 4.57 billion people now use the internet, an increase of more than 7% since this time last year. Social media users are also growing even faster, up by more than 8% since April 2019 to reach 3.81 billion.

But founder of Copy Generators Mitchel White believes that brands, especially SMEs, may not have the resource and budget available to capitalise on this via their usual costly contracts, and is keen to explore further:

“As part of our launch, we’re dedicating a certain amount of time to conducting research that will help us understand the true extent to which the pandemic has affected brands across the UK.

“With the increase in digital browsing, there’s a real opportunity to build up trust and credibility via professionally written and targeted copy, but many brands will likely not have the same budget to invest in their pre-pandemic marketing.

“We want to understand whether brands have responded by going completely silent, or begun generating their own copy, and how this has affected their monthly analytics.”

Copy Generators is an affordable copywriting consultancy comprising a team of talented and professional creatives and marketers.

The firm’s easy to use, self-service platform, enables brands to request unlimited professional copy written in a way that speaks directly to its audience, all for one affordable monthly fee.

The survey is part of the consultancy’s first digital campaign since launching in early May 2020 and is aimed at e-commerce brands, agency owners, marketers, those in the retail sector, and travel agents.

Those who take part will be given the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win three free months’ worth of unlimited copywriting via the Copy Generators team.
