PAZZA Arrives In Leeds

PAZZA, who specialise in fresh pasta and delicious sauces have brought their unique take on the beloved Italian staple to Leeds, popping up at MOD Pizza, Leeds City Centre.

Their ‘Make your own’ pasta concept aligns perfectly with MOD’s custom pizza offering, so the collab is an obvious fit to be able to offer the people of Leeds exactly what they want, whether it’s an express lunch break or a leisurely sit-down dinner.

It is a busy restaurant but there are plenty of tables, the place does have a youthful energy about it.

The PAZZA menu consists of seven dishes, as well as the build your own concept, all for from £5.95. Dishes include their Chicken and Chorizo Alfredo, made with fresh rigatoni, sundried tomatoes, spinach and parmesan, and the Italian staple, Bolognese with beef and red wine, sage, thyme and parmesan.

The vegetarian and vegan offerings are just as tempting, and include favourites such as Al Pesto with spinach, courgettes, feta and fresh scialatelli, and the classic Pomodoro with oregano, garlic and a signature tomato sauce.

Cooked fresh to order, the PAZZA range will also include three bite-size pasta dishes for kids. The new menu will be complemented with an authentic, hand-stretched garlic bread, which is of course the ultimate pasta side-dish.

Apparently the pasta is made fresh in London then sent up to the Leeds restaurant in less than 3 days ready to be served. I tried the Chicken Arrabbiata pasta which was a plentiful serving though I would have liked a bit more chicken in the dish, nevertheless it was still enjoyable.

My partner thought that her Chicken and Chorizo Alfredo pasta was one of the best she has tasted in recent months: creamy and served red hot - pasta tends to loose heat quickly and it was a change to have it served hot!
