New Rail Adventure Promises Breathtaking Mountain Views

York-based Great Rail Journeys has announced a new tour for its 2022 worldwide programme: experiencing the Colorado mountains on the brand-new South West USA route from Rocky Mountaineer.Guests will enjoy the spectacular scenery including mountains and national parks, travelling on the iconic railway’s brand-new Rockies to the Red Rocks route.

The new tour, now on sale, departs Spring 2022 and is available as part of Great Rail Journey’s popular North American rail programme.

This never-experienced-before adventure provides access to incredible views only possible by rail as well as the chance to experience a journey on the Pikes Peak Railroad, the highest railway in North America.

Passengers will also be invited to take a dip in the natural mineral Manitou Springs whilst exploring some of nature’s incredible national parks including Arches National, Canyonlands National Park, Walnut and Canyon.

The journey will continue along the famous Route 66 with the final stop taking passengers to the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Tours for this once in a lifetime, 12-day adventure, will depart from May 2022 - September 2022 on selected dates[1] priced from £3,995[2] per person.
