It’s A Good Catch At The New Catch Restaurant In Leeds

Catch, the award-winning seafood restaurant brand, are opening their latest addition to the group on Street Lane, Leeds on Monday 5th October. Formerly known as The Fisherman’s Lodge, Catch Street Lane is reopening its doors to welcome customers following a £200k refurbishment programme.

Catch pride themselves on delivering a casual seafood dining experience, using quality seafood sourced from UK ports. The investment includes a significant kitchen upgrade that will allow the restaurant team to broaden its menu and serve the top quality and healthy seafood dishes that the Catch brand are known for, alongside traditional fish and chip meals.

The takeaway will also reopen after a refurbishment, giving customers a chance to enjoy the Catch experience at home, and a new bar area has also been incorporated into the refitted restaurant, which will serve a range of draught products, delicious cocktails and fantastic wines. Unique to the Street Lane site, is that food will be cooked in vegetable oil, instead of beef dripping, as requested by the local community.

Sarah Stuttle, Managing Director at Catch, commented:
“We’re all so excited to be expanding the Catch family and opening our 4th restaurant. It’s a great achievement for us to have opened in Headingley and now Street Lane in what has been a very difficult year for the industry. The Fisherman’s Lodge has been a part of the local community for a long time, and we’re excited to welcome these loyal customers to Catch, as well as some new faces, when we reopen.”

I visited the new Catch restaurant in Headingley and was very impressed with their Fish and Chips, cooked the traditional way in beef dripping or if you wish sunflower oil.
