Four medals from four is unreal. What we’ve achieved as a team is wonderful.

There was so much pressure on us coming in with three from three and we know we could make it four from four. It’s a wonderful day and one to cherish forever.
Anthony Harding, Diving

There was a certain inevitability about it this morning. I think we woke up this morning and looked at each other. I think we both knew that we had it in us today.

I think those tears were just an outpouring of every early night, every hard training session, every wedding and party that we've missed, every time stressing over a bad session, every selection pressure, every early morning, every horrendous crosswind. Just all of it, all coming out at once.

Emily is the toughest, most incredible person I've ever had the pleasure of rowing with. I've rowed for nearly 10 years, and half of that has been with Emily.

She took me from a clueless, single sculler, who did not know how to row a double, to an Olympic champion. She's been there every single step of the way. When I've had my wobbles and I've had my ups and downs, when she's had her ups and downs. I kind of want to just go out and do it all over again.

It feels amazing. I'm very shocked at the moment, surprised, overwhelmed, every emotion that you can think of. I'm kind of sad it’s over now. It's such a beautiful medal as well, it’s got a bit of the Eiffel Tower in. So yeah, I completed it mate.
