Bradford Park Avenue Vs York City Postponed

Today’s Boxing Day Fixture at Bradford Park Avenue has been called off.

Following a last minute goal at Matlock from Mark Beck to send York City through to the next round of the FA Trophy, The Minstermen were set to be back in action for a festive fixture away to Bradford Park Avenue in the league.

However, around 11:15 this morning, Bradford released a statement which read:

“Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions, today's match v York City has been called off. Rearrangements will be made in due course! Stay tuned!”

It was clear that the match at the Horsfall Stadium could not be played after photos and videos were released on social media.

City’s next game is scheduled to be a close match up at the LNER Community Stadium when they host Alfreton Town on Tuesday 28th December (3PM kickoff).
