An E. Nesbit Classic Children's Story To Be Retold By York Explore In April

A children’s play of the book Five Children and It by E. Nesbit, will be premiering on Explore York Libraries’ You Tube Channel on Wednesday 7th April at 6 pm, and will then be available for a further week, for those who can’t make the performance.

Adapted and performed by Anna Soden, with the help of York Theatre Royal, E. Nesbit’s timeless story will be brought to vivid life.

Anthea and her brothers and sister live in a small sleepy Northern town. She's longing for adventure, but there's nothing to do! Until one day, they make a strange discovery on Scarborough beach. Join Anthea, as she tells her magical story through the mediums of music, storytelling and puppetry. Sometimes the best adventures can happen on your own doorstep!

The performance is free; simply go to...


...at 6pm on Wednesday 7 April, and if you can’t make the premier the recording will be available to view until 7pm on 14 April.
