Service Of Remembrance

The Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull, Councillor John Hewitt, will attend the annual Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph on Sunday 12 November 2017.

The service will be conducted by the Reverend Canon Dr Neal Barnes, Vicar of Hull Minster, along with the Right Reverend Alison White, Bishop of Hull.

Rev Canon Dr Neal Barnes who is the Lord Mayor’s Chaplain will give the address.

Following the service the Lord Mayor will take the salute at the March Past accompanied by the Vice Lord Lieutenant, the Deputy Chief Executive, Lieut Colonel Alan Hinton, the Bishop of Hull and the Lord Mayor’s Chaplain.

The March Past will consist of members from various veterans associations and will be led by the Humberside Police band and 150 Transport Regiment Band.

The public are welcome to attend the service which commences at 10.55am.
