Remembrance Day Window Display
Christine Wright, owner of florist Horticouture in Boroughbridge, has put on a striking display for Remembrance Sunday this year, reminding residents of the fallen servicemen from the town in North Yorkshire.

Each one of the poppies in the shop window is attached to the name of a fallen serviceman from Boroughbridge in WW1, WW2 and of the crew from 432 squadron in the Lancaster bomber that crashed in 1944 near to the town.

Christine said:
"I think it's incredibly important to honour the fallen servicemen from our town and across the country.

"One resident from Boroughbridge was able to find his uncle's name on a poppy, it was a very moving experience."
