Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And The Humber – Summary For Monday 16 April To Sunday 25 April 2018
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 13 April and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 Junction 33 Catcliffe

The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Thursday 19 April for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 34 Tinsley Viaduct

The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 17 April for technology work. The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Monday 16 April and then overnight for another three nights from Wednesday 18 April for surveys. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 35 Thorpe Hesley

The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Wednesday 18 April for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 35a Stocksbridge

The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Monday 16 April for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 39 Durkar

The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 16 April for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 32 Castleford to junction 30 Rothwell

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 16 April from junction 30 to junction 31. The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 16 April from junction 31 to junction 30. The closures which are for resurfacing will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 35 to M18 junction 7 Langham

The eastbound M62 to the southbound M18 link will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 17 April for carriageway repairs. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 Junction 36 Airmyn

The westbound exit slip road will be fully closed overnight Wednesday 18 April for carriageway repairs. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M180 junction 1 to junction 3 Midmoor

The eastbound and westbound with have a permanent lane 1 closure 24/7 with a 50mph speed restriction until May.

M621 junction 1 Beeston to junction 7 Stourton

The anticlockwise carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 16 April. The clockwise and anticlockwise will be in narrow lanes with a 30mph speed restriction until June for the installation of concrete barrier. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1 Barnsdale to Ferrybridge

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Monday 16 April. The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 17 April. The closures for barrier work will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. The northbound and southbound carriageway will be in narrow lanes with a 40mph speed restriction until May.

A64 Bramham to Askham Bryan

The eastbound and westbound carriageway has a 40mph speed restriction in place until May for barrier renewal work. The speed restriction is in place 24/7. The overall scheme is due for completion mid-summer.

A64 Tadcaster to Headley Bar

The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 16 April for barrier work. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Sherburn

There will be 4-way temporary traffic lights operating at the Sherburn junction for developer and Yorkshire Water work from Monday 16 to 25 April.
