Little Alf Is Ready For Children In Need!
Hannah Russell, Features Writer
Alfie wearing his Pudsey ears
Every year Little Alf and I do our best to support charities and help raise awareness.

I’ve always believed if you have a big following or presence in the world then you should do your bit to help, as whatever you post online is reaching a wider audience and helping the world.

Although we can’t help every charity, as that would be impossible, but we do our best to help when we can and this week we are showing our support to Children in Need with the Pudsey ears and Countryfile beanie. I love the beanie as it has two ears on the top which look very cute.

I roped in Alfie and Pepper to help me with some photos this morning.

Alfie wore the Pudsey ears as he kept shaking the beanie off his head and then once it fell off he was picking it up with his mouth and throwing it in the air, which is not the idea when you’re trying to take photos.

He seemed to quite like wearing the Pudsey ears and when I got the camera out he stood and posed waiting for me to take a photo.

Pepper and Alfie ready for Children in Need
Pepper wore the Countryfile Ramble hat. Pepper is slightly older than Alfie and a little more mature so he was quite happy to wander around the field showing off his beanie as he posed for photos – I personally thought the beanie really suited him and I think he did too as when I went to take it off he kept walking away.

I remember working on projects at school for Children in Need where we did a ‘bake sale’ and raised over £1,500 for the amazing charity.

Children in Need is the BBC UK Charity, which started in 1980 and has raised over £600 million since it first began – How amazing is that?

They help disabled children and young people across the UK and they highlight it all every year on an annual TV programme which is this Friday – I love watching it every year, the stories are so inspiring and you can guarantee I end up crying at all the stories.

Alfie and I personally love the Pudsey bear mascot as he’s very cute!

BBC Children in Need’s vision is that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential. The charity will realise this vision by supporting, promoting and publicising work that addresses the challenges that children and young people face and work that builds their skills and resilience.
