Ilkley’s Bistrot Pierre Celebrates The Crescent And Reopens With A New Look
The staff
At an exclusive reception celebrating The Crescent last night (4 October), Bistrot Pierre celebrated its seventh birthday, unveiling a new look for the bistrot and the boutique bed and breakfast rooms.

The iconic 1860s building is home to the French-style restaurant B&B accommodation and pub, which have received a tasteful makeover.

More than150 guests including loyal customers and representatives from across the community were invited to enjoy drinks, canapés and were shown around the new look bistrot and the eleven unique bedrooms.

“We are lucky enough to be housed in this wonderful building, so we are delighted to be breathing new life into it – whilst maintaining and highlighting the original features that make it so special,” said general manager, Ros Drury.

“It’s a stunning space and we’re incredibly proud to be celebrating our seventh birthday with our loyal customers who have supported us since day one.”

“We have given a lot of care and attention to show our commitment to Ilkley, giving the much-loved bistrot a makeover, creating an offering that our diners and visitors want to come back and experience again and again – providing a relaxed atmosphere and making the everyday special with our French bistrot classics.

“Our newly launched Autumn/Winter menu is already proving to be incredibly popular, with a range of classic bistrot favourites, as well as some new dishes including parmentier maison, a rich French-style beef cottage pie, pan-fried duck breast with dauphinoise potatoes, and a roasted vegetable, chickpea and apricot tagine – which is also available as a vegan option.

“Our boutique B&B accommodation embraces local heritage – with our eleven rooms being named after local moors and portraits of Yorkshire landscapes throughout – mixed with the elegance and relaxed atmosphere you expect from Bistrot Pierre.

“I’d like to thank all of our diners and visitors for making our seven years in Ilkley so successful and look forward to welcoming new customers as we enter our eighth year in the town,” added Ros.

Bistrot Pierre is located at Brook Street, Ilkley, LS29 8DG.
