Gig Review: EofE - Manchester Arena

EofE are a new 4 piece band from the UK who are in same mould as Lawson or The Vamps in that they come up with melodic pop songs that are destined to be heard on the radio,

EofE were a good choice to open up for McFly and Busted on their UK arena tour, in fact EofE probably grew up listening to Busted or even McFly.

Surprisingly they open up their short set tonight with a cover version of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean - they only have a short time on stage and perhaps it would have been better to just do all their own tracks but as they are the warm up act tonight perhaps they want to keep things familiar.

It was interesting to see that the audience stayed to watch EofE instead of going to get popcorn or a drink whilst they performed their set, so the act must have something going for them as everyone seemed focused on watching the group.

Piece of You slowed things down and gave everyone a chance to hold their phone in the air but it was Lust, their new single that was their best track of the night. It deserves to be a hit and it could be the start of a longer career if the fans present here tonight and on the rest of the McBusted tour legally download the track and it gets into the charts.

They left a lasting impression and I am sure we have not heard the last of them.
