Album Review: Vintage Trouble - 1 Hopeful Road

In an age of manufactured bands comes this new outfit who have already supported AC/DC on their European tour earlier this year.

This new album is a mix of soul, rock and blues. If you are a fan of Joe Santriani then chances are you will enjoy this appealing album.

The album opens with Run Like The River: a track that has a touch of Credence Clearwater Revival, this is timeless music yet somehow they seem to make it sound fresh. It is not just uptempo tracks they perform as on From My Arms they show their soulful side on this memorable track.

Doin What You Were Doin could be a Paul Carrack track, if you see the references I am making here it will give you some idea where the band are coming from.

Angel City, California shows their rockier side. This is an album that will appeal to any rock fan, whatever your age. It would be great if the band were to appear on Later.... With Jools as the band is made to appear on the show.

It will be exciting to hear the songs performed live, the band visit the Leadmill in Sheffield on Friday 13 November and Scarborough Spa on Saturday 14 November.
