Album Review: Bridget Jones's Baby

The film might have got good reviews but is the soundtrack album any good? There is a wide range of music on the album from Jesse Glynne to The Isley Brothers to House of Pain.

There are two brand new tracks on the album: Still Falling For You by Ellie Goulding and Meteorite from Years and Years. This is their first new material for over a year and the track could make a future single. The band pop up again on the album with their massive introductory hit, King.

There are some uplifting dance classics on the album such as We Are Family by Sister Sledge and the McFadden and Whitehead disco classic from 1979, Ain't No Stopping Us Now.

Basically the album is a mixture of old and new.

If you have seen the film you will remember the songs but the album is worth getting even if you have not seen the film as it stands up in its own right.
