Album Review - Shuffle: Shape Cutting House (Warner Music TV)

Every now and again a new scene comes along in the dance music genre, the last being EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and now comes Shuffling.

Shuffling is the underground dance phenomenon that has swept the UK and become the defining set of moves for the modern house revival.

This new compilation brings together some of the biggest tracks of this new movement from the piano house of Clean Bandit with Real Love to Blonde featuring Melissa Steel with I Loved You, all the tracks on the album are very accessible.

Spread over 3 CD's the album also contains tracks from Paloma Faith, Basement Jaxx and Duke Dumont. There are also updated versions of classic dance tracks such as Robin S and Love for Love, Sandy B with Make the World Go Round and Ultra Nate and Free.

In a way it is the best of the old and best of the new with the album likely to appeal not just to the club scene but also to an older market too.
