Album Review: Queen - Forever (Virgin)

Queen fans would have been over the moon to hear the news of a new Queen album featuring some new Freddie Mercury tracks.

In reality the "new" album only features 3 brand new songs, the Brian May written Let Me Hear Your Heart Again, which is a typical Queen ballad that recalls Need Somebody To Love, the second new track Love Rules is written by Freddie Mercury and Giorgio Moroder, the track recalls I Was Made To Love You albeit in a slower version.

The third new track is a duet with Michael Jackson -There Must Be More to Life than This, written by Freddie Mercury. Again it is another ballad and the track is the lead single off the album.
Queen fans would have been over the moon to hear the news of a new Queen album featuring some new Freddie Mercury tracks.

The rest of the album consists of Queen's more romantic and slower tracks such as It's a Hard Life, Play the Game and Who Wants to Live Forever. If you are a Queen fan then this album is worth buying just for the 3 new tracks.

4 out of 5.
