Album Review: Alison Moyet - Minutes And Seconds Live (Cooking Vinyl Records)

Alison Moyet's last album The Minutes was well received by press and fans alike. The tour that followed was sold out and this new live album follows the tour of that name.

She was due to appear in Leeds next month on the Culture Club tour but that has been cancelled now due to Boy Georges's throat problems. Instead fans will have this excellent live album to listen to.

Her voice had matured and it is even richer now than back in the 1980's. As well as tracks off The Minutes album she revisits her earlier career in Yazoo and Only You along with her solo hits Is This Love and All Cried Out which have been re-worked and sounding as good as the original versions.

A fine British talent who was probably the Adele of her generation.
